I heated the 1st weld up this morning, did not see any cracks! Went ahead and welded the 2nd crack (underneath the first). I grinded the crack and started from the feathered edge. Did a bead, grind, another bead, grind, etc. Working my way from the small end to the big end. Worked on the mating edge a bit more and made sure it is flat with a straightedge.

The welds look good, no cracks that I could see. Mounted it up to a head and torqued to 20 ft/lbs. All looks good

Now I can media blast it and paint it, put on the studs and call this project done!
