Hey, for those of you who weren't aware, Erik's Birthday was SATURDAY! What a way to celebrate a Birthday; at the SCR!

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe next year they could offer a shirt that reads "I've spent my past 10 birthdays at SCR and all i got was this lousy T-Shirt"

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe a Deuce for his B-day

O.K., I checked with my friend Dean Klein. He is THE Sox & Martin historical expert IMHO. First, Dean says that the car is Ronnie's '71 pro stock car, and, the event might have been one that Ronnie had told him about. It seems that the week before Indy, there was a promotional event where the drivers all drove other people's cars. Dick Harrell drove Ronnie's Cuda! That might explain what's going on in the picture.

Since next year is the TENTH!!!, I'd suggest a very "SPECIAL" 'something' for those who have attended all TEN!. These guys deserve some recognition for their dedication.
And how about Ken B. for showing up with a (valuable) race car and lifting the wheels time and time again???? THAT deserves special recognition!!

Verne.............

Who knows, maybe next year there might be a '62 day-2 car there. Just put it at the back of the line....
