Selling some of my Yenko Camaro Parts
In April 1972 I purchased one of the first 50 X44 cars. I kept it for maybe 5 years, made it into a race car and have some parts that I kept from this real car that I will be listing. The car is not on the list, it was a mid January build car, and well known in the Randallstown MD area. I lived less than 2 miles from Jerry M. And he of course remembers the car well. Nobody knew at that time what the car really was as it was the only one in the area, and I conveniently earned the nickname Yenko from some. I’ve posted pictures previously. I doubt that it is to be found and doubt even more that it would be found by me so someone can make use of these original factory installed items. First I am posting pics of the original air cleaner. Shortly after I purchased the car, I installed a 4781 Holley and immediately discovered the lower vent tube had to go. You can see in the pics that I removed it and of course would need to be repaired. Also have the original fan blade, 3947782 dated L68. I have what I remember being the original clutch posting soon. Also have the power steering pump assembly with the original pressure hose, AIR pump, and some engine pulleys. Have the Stewart Warner speedo cable ratio reducer as well. The car had 28,000 miles when I got it and still had the exhaust manifolds. Unfortunately they were left outside and became very rusty. I also believe I have the original front coil springs but since I swapped several pairs around would need to be refreshed on the part number tag info to find them. I also have an original 1969 302 Block and crank to dig out and other misc odds and ends. I am pricing the air cleaner at 2200.00 firm and the fan blade at 275.00. I have many references in the hobby so buyers can feel secure.
