Default Joe Perry Aerosmith LT1 Vette

Post crash , before crash pics from the mid-seventies - 1975 or '76 I think. He had the money for a new anything and he's driving a used solid-lifter 'Vette - good on ya Joe! Probably never got fixed though.

I used to love CREEM Magazine when I was a kid and its Stars with Their Cars feature - he was scheduled to be be shot with his beautiful 'Vette - they did the shoot with the crashed carcass anyways!

They knew music better than cars though - the caption called it a "Perry-winkle Blue 1967 Corvette"

John Bonham was a huge motorhead as well. There is a supposed story out there that Hendrix took Bonham for a ride in the Vette and they both were amazed at how the cowl panel would pop up. Just read that Charlie Watts was a big car collector, but never drove any of them, just liked to sit in them. They were Artists after all....

My cousin did the airbrush work on A Hendrix tribute Vette. The basic Artwork is completed first then on the final touch the art is blended into the color of the car.
