Default 1970 SS Chevelle value help

Hey Everyone:

Friend of mine needs some help establishing value on his 1970 SS Chevelle. The Chevelle was built in Atlanta and he has the buildsheet. Here's what I know:

Originally white with black stripes and black vinyl roof. Car was repainted approx. 20 years ago same colors and stripes, but now no vinyl top. Car has a few small rust spots in quarters and bottom of rear window.

Interior is all original black with bucket seats and auto with console. I don't think it has any tears in seat or cracks in dash.

Drivetrain currently has high output 454 with original auto trans and original rear axle. Original 350 horse 396 has been rebuilt with heads and intake. Original carburetor, starter and alternator have been changed out on car.

Options include: Cowl induction hood, air conditioning (missing compressor and hoses at engine)

That's all that I can think of now. Chevelle is what I would call a driver in terms of quality overall. Friend has an offer to trade chevelle for a 55 chevy street rod so he is trying to determine value of chevelle. Opinions on value are appreciated.

Todd
