The post office is slow on both sides of the border-not just Canada Rick(lol)-I have a parcel coming from OR-sent May 11th-May 27th is the last tracking in Chicago-I have sent packages to the U.S in the past 2 months-I always ship prioty-4 business days-watching the tracking -4-6 days to get to customs 7-10 more days from U.S. customs to the proper state on the east coast.I guess they are cleaning every parcel-just sent a parcel to Australia -probably a few months-stay safe everyone!
Keep on Cruising!

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like my item’s 5 weeks between NY and Chicago is longer than most, but delays across the board seem far more common for now.

Default Slow Shipping

Four weeks for a package from New Jersey to Connecticut.

Filed a claim but nobody could tell me what caused the delay.

Ebay purchase, non-automotive part, ordered Saturday June 13 PM, sent USPS. Monday the 15th (yesterday) it's in my mail box from Massachusetts. Halfway across the country delivered in LESS THAN 48 HOURS, OVER A WEEKEND!!

Ordered small parts from Long Island Corvette Thursday June 4th, shipped UPS. Sat somewhere in NY for a couple days "Due to circumstances beyond our control". Finally moved again early last week. Delivery date pushed off from Friday to Monday (yesterday). No show. Tracking says it's in a facility 120 miles from me, been there for FOUR DAYS. No explanation or update, no show today.

This is crazy!!

I've found it a little more hit and miss since Covid. Having said that, I received a motorcycle part from China to Australia in 6 days through eBay.

Anything out of NY is always about double what it used to take to get here.

Six days after tracking tells me that my LI Corvette package is in Davenport Iowa, 120 miles from me, updated today that it passed through Oakland CA and is now in Palo Alto CA, with a delivery back in Iowa next Tuesday the 23rd.

We shall see. Fortunately I'm not in a yang for the parts.
