Default Unknown Special Paint COPO Chevelle?

Going out on a limb here...but I think this may be a COPO Chevelle.

Compare its trim tag to my previous COPO...now owned/restored by Jeff Latondress. Similar body numbers for the same build timeframe, and the special order code is fairly close.

Link to 1969 Chevelle eBay auction

Auction car trim tag, VIN 136379B396221

My old car, VIN 136379B394091

The seller says it has a 4:10 gear. Would be interesting to find out the rear end code.

I was thinking the same thing. I also see a 3/8” single fuel line.

Default Axle code

Seller and I went back and forth today trying to get a photo of the code. The car was raced early in its life and does show signs of traction bars welded to axle and frame. Tube has no code stamped in it probably due to grinding welds off. Cast date looks to be 1970 so axle is not original anyway.

it might be possible that the body tag was added to the car at some point in its life. i would verify the vin as well with any convins on the firewall. something isnt matching up in my list. the body tag shown should be in the late 393xxx or early 394xxx range not 396221. if the six digit number 192612 was 195612 it would fit my list- maybe a bad stamp on the third number? tag rivets dont look old to me but it might just be me. Thanks for posting the info.

The rivets do appear to have been pinched back in to allow the tag to be removed with them intact and not spread out again after. The centers look strange.

Just looking at some trim tag data of mine, the body number is very close to a 6A car that I have data on, but the VIN is only off by 1500 on a 6D car that I have data on. This car's VIN is only off by 143 numbers from a 7A car. FWIW.
