Default 1977 Pontiac Trans Am - Special Edition SURVIVOR

1977 Trans Am - Special Edition SURVIVOR

Highlights

1. Survivor car, loaded with only 21,600 miles with the highly desirable Y82 Special Edition option

2. Original paint (code 19 - Starlight Black)

3. Original interior, very rare (code 24B - Blue Cloth)

4. Original engine 400 CID (code L78 in 1977), original transmission 350 Turbo (code M38), original posi rear end (code G80), original dual exhaust, etc, etc, etc

5. Original owner who stored the Trans Am since 1994

6. Original Bill of Sale, GM of Canada documentation, original warranty and owners manual and a complete detailed history of the car

This Trans Am has not been moved from its resting place since 1994. The owner feels that the vehicle is best left this way for the puriest to take it to the next level, whatever that may be. That was the driving reason to leave it in its current "stored status", with the original dust undisturbed, the interior not fluffed, the engine compartment not detailed, etc.

This would qualify as an ideal barn find and would be a "real treat" to bring it to the MCACN 2019 show and expose it to the Vintage Certification process. I suspect that this may be the most correct, assembly line built 1977 Trans Am SE in the country.

I am listing the car for a very good friend of mine who happens to be the original owner. The vehicle resides in Moncton New Brunswick, Canada. To ship the car to the U.S.A. is an easy process and we would certainly facilitate the complete transaction.

If you are interested, please feel free to PM me and we can have a discussion regarding the vehicle.

Asking price is $42,900

Paul Desender

Yes. The german style lettering was a 77-78 thing. 'T/A 6.6' for the 200 horse W72 400 cars and '6.6 LITRE' for the 180-horse L78 400 cars.

I have never seen an SE car with that color interior - that's crazy rare.
