Default Yenko drag cars

I know a lot of Yenkos were drag raced through the years, I would love to see pictures and hear how they did.

Here is ours. According to an ad in National Dragster (1-19-1996), and follow up research with previous owners #2, our Deuce was very competitive, inclduing in 1990 the NHRA Division #3 Super Street Champion.

My granson Drew loves the wheelie bars and and former paint scheme.

Here are some shots of Jim S's 69 Yenko that I restored several years ago, the Humble Hugger. Unfortunately, I have no stats on it's racing history with me. This Yenko was interesting in the fact that it was ordered with no hood stripes and the 'Yenko sYc' was not on the rear portion of the stripes.

For some reason I always thought the P&L car was a midwest racer, but then saw a vintage pic of this car at Maple Grove Dragway from the early '70's. Now, reading the latest biography on da Grump, there is some additional context and pics of this car - apparently saw a lot more of MGR than I thought! P&L could never get the car to run very competitive, certainly nowhere near where 4speed Yenko was running!
