Saw it this afternoon with Gal. She too had no knowledge of the Shelby guy or even who Lee I was etc etc. But as any good story should do, it sucked her in from start to finish. I too enjoyed it! Great Actors and well told story. So for you guys who want to bring your ladies, don't let them get hung up on the Oh it's a car movie!! It's great STORY. Most anyone will appreciate that

My wife and I both loved it. Go see it and enjoy what happened back in the day.

Really enjoyed it. As I watched the action at Le Mans, I got to thinking about Ed Lowther's speech at SCR1, about racing there. He mentioned how the big block Corvettes experienced brake fade, how at night it was harder to locate entry/braking points and mechanical issues that seemed to always pop up. I would love to have a copy of his speech, as is was one of the coolest, funniest I have ever heard.

To bad Duntov's experimental Chevy BB engines never we approved by the top brass at GM. If so this would of never happened.

Saw it again with my son. Briefed him up on the backstory: Shelby, Ken Miles, Shelby-American, Ford, Ferrari, Gianni Agnelli/Fiat, etc. He loved it.
