Ive also heard that local dealers here buying for stock and marking up have lost some 2022 allotments over it, and gave those to the dealers selling at sticker . Im getting the info from the dealer its not my opinion. I purchased from Richard Chevrolet in Cheshire ,I never thought id say I had a stellar experience with a car dealership, but they were absolutely amazing in the entire process from order to delivery.

Not Corvette related but spoke to a friend who was looking for a new SUV. The local Caddy, Benz, Buick and Chevy dealers were all charging a mark-up to ORDER any new vehicle.

Ended up going with BMW, no M/U but did have to order the vehicle.

Dealers are not bound to sell at MSRP plus or minus, but the manufacturer does control inventory allocations. Some public/private dealer groups have internal pricing policies.
