What is the going price for a 7416 crank what was it specifically made for? It comes with a dampener.
Thanks, Tony

Is 3967416 forged into the crank or just 7416? That crank was made for high performance and heavy duty 454 applications.

I'm not sure I believe the numbers came off the crank casting as 7416 there are 2 of these and I 7115 and several 6223. I am helping a friend with the sale of some new and used gm parts from the late 60's to mid 70's. Someone wants the crank buy I have no idea on price I figured in general the 6223 and 7115 (used)are between 150 to 250. But what about the 7416?

7416 is forged steel, cross drilled and tuftrided crankshaft that was for the LS6 454 450 hp motor.
They sell between $350 and up to $500+ depending how good of shape it is.
I have 2 of them in stock as well.
There should be a cast number right on the crank marked 7416.
This crank is externally balanced with the flywheel and damper.

The earlier cranks will have 4 numbers and the later ones will have all 7. I think $350-$500+ is a good estimate if all journals are clean and it is not too far under cut or strangly balanced.

If damper is USA made company $100-$150
If it is asian crap, lucky to get $50.

I recently bought a brand new GM Damper for $170 so don't be to greety.

ATI Super Dampers are good stuff. I have one on my car. Made in USA and are rebuildable.
