Along the lines of less flashy, lower budget, but effective....

The Brooklyn Heavy car hauler in the very first post(top pic)is now owned by Dan Palchanes. He brought I to my friend's shop a few years back and Heavy came down and took pictures with it and signed off on it. It would be great if my recent efforts to authenticate and buy Heavy's Harrell built 70 Camaro ever pay off.

The car hauler in the second pic is the one owned by Dan Palchanes. It has a lot of differences from the one in the first pic. I am not saying it is or isn't the same or one of Heavy's haulers. I'm just pointing out that the two haulers have differences.
Dan's hualer restored would be awesome. The photo doesn't show it well, but it has a ribbon paint scheme on the bed sides. Much like the Motion Ribbon Camaro. It is very cool.

Thanks,
Marty

I wasn't sure about that. I remember that the one Dan has still has some of the lettering from Heavy on I,so I didn't think it was the second one. I wasn't sure since I do remember that Dan's truck seemed like a regular 1 ton,and the truck in the first pic is longer and has a heavier chassis then Dan's. Either way,it is a cool hauler. I myself would be torn on just how much to restore it.
