Frank Hagerty

Frank Hagerty founder of Hagerty Insurance passed away recently. Here is some info about Frank and how Hagerty came to be. I live in Traverse City where Hagerty Insurance is located and first met Frank many years ago at local car shows. He was a very nice person and loved all kinds of classic cars and boats.

The video is about his pursuit of a certain automobile that he looked for for years. This car was one of a fleet that gave rides across the dunes at what is now Sleeping Bear National Park on the shores of Lake Michigan near Traverse City.

Hagerty Insurance has become a real asset to the community if Traverse City and is one of the leading employers in the area, thanks to the many members of the classic car community.
