I just noticed the "nostrils" aren't opened up on the car in Joes pictures.

Note that in the old drag photos the car does not have spoilers. Also, the car in the Yenko promotional photos doesn't have trim rings.

Always interesting to look at vintage Yenko photos and compare the differences. For some reason, which I think is neat, even though all were built using the same blue print, each car seems to be just a little different then the next one, even the '69s and '70s, which for the most part were factory built and produced in volume. My guess is, Don was smart enough to know that every car enthusiast wanted to have his or her car relect their own personality. Mike's car is a good example of this, where two owners, even though brothers, had different ideas in how the car should look.

Joe,
The photo you have may very well be Mikes car. There were 5 RG 68 camaros in the first batch of twenty. Two went to Jay Kline in Minneapolis MN. A previous owner told me the photo with tow bar. Was taken going north on hwy 65 Central ave. On the way to Minnesota Dragways. I agree with Rick. The timing tower in the other photo looks like Twin Cities dragways. Earl

These vintage pics that Rob posted are of a Corvette Bronze "demo" in Florida. The grill emblem is absent, the gas cap is blacked out, it has trim rings, but, it's hard to tell if the hood is opened up.

The car in the B&W photos looks like it has no front spoiler and the back spoiler looks like it is a aftermaket unit. It looks like the same type of spoiler that is on one of the restored red 68 Yenko Camaros.
There was at least one 68 ralley green COPO Camaro sold as 396 non converted car.

Mike, I have a set of promo photos of this bronze car as well. How do you know the pics were taken in Florida? I always figured they weren't taken in Canonsburg due to the palm trees seen in the background, but was no certain where the location actually was.
