Default How many miles per year are you driving...

I sold my '70 LS5 last year because I had only driven it about 100 miles in 18 months and I got into air cooled Porsches for the first time in my life. I checked last night, and I've put 1,000 miles on my C2 and about 400 on my C2S this year. I drive one of them every weekend, but to be honest, I thought I would do at least 5,000 miles/year of fun cruising. Just wondering, how many miles/year are you guys putting on your muscle cars????

I probably have gone 100 miles in the last two years for one reason or another and probably a total of 1200 miles in 6 years. If I lived out west I might be inclined to use it more but I'm not sorry I don't.

Does Power Tour count?

I'm finding they're more fun when you get them out of the trailer. Probably close to 2000 miles this year.

700 miles on both my 70 Chevelle LS6 + 70 Challenger R/T S.E.
Would of been much more if it did not rain on the cruise in nights or if i had less cars than 4.

I try to put at least 1000 miles per car a year as it is great for the car's lubrication and fuel system.
The guy that owned my challenger before me only put 300 miles in 8 years. I think that's bad for the car as the fuel does not change enough for the carb to run right.
I had to tweak/tune the carb before i started using the car on a more regular basis.
Even though my cars looks like trailer queen's, I drive them.
Nice sunny days won't hurt the car.

5000 miles on the hemi Charger in 23 years.

200 on the T/A so far in six years (199 of it in the past 3 weeks)!

7000 on the viper in 17 years (all in the first 7 years - 75% at Sebring, at speed).

106,000 on my 95 diesel Suburban in 15 years.

Since the fall of 1997, we've averaged about 2800 miles a year on the old Chevelle.
