The seller seems totally clueless...the PHS would answer all these questions. I'd order it up if I had a serious interest in the car...and I really dig it the more I look at it.

Given the 87,000 miles on the odometer, I would expect that this car has been repainted. I was concerned that maybe someone repainted it re-sale red, but it looks like that could be original paint along the edges of the quarters and tail panel under the deck lid? The trunk floor looks fantastic!
The underside looks amazingly clean. The rockers, below the stainless trim, may still wear the original paint... they're very faded (not that they'd see any sun down there), they seem to have some wax residue and no rust! Under the hood, everything looks relatively untouched, so I'm reasonably convinced that it's not a 400 clone. Would be nice to see the numbers on the engine, but no response from the clueless dealer/seller. Any other observations would be appreciated.

Looks like overspray in the trunk and red paint on the fender brace. Sure looks like a real 400 4sp 'vert., these are somewhat rare. PHS, then inspection. Being a 67, the motor unit number (MUN) might be on the PHS docs.
On a side note, looks like no PS or PB. |

I don't seen the overspray in the trunk, but I do see the overspray on both fender braces. Thanks!
I guess that settles my paint question.
