Default 1969 Z10 Camaro

I've got a good friend who is in the process of getting his 1969 Z10 ready to sell. He asked me what it's estimated current value was and I'm not sure so I thought I'd check here to see if anyone could help him out. It's a very nice car and restored very accurately. It's a numbers matching 350 M21 4 speed car. It's got black standard interior with a fold down rear seat. It's got console with gauges and an endura bumper. I think it might have a couple other options, but these I know for sure. The engine bay is detailed out to factory specs and equipped with the A.I.R. system and has a factory style exhaust system on it. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Here are a couple pictures that might help give a fair estimated valve on the Z10. Thanks again for your help.

Wow,That's high. I guess the market is swinging around on them. I had sold mine 2 years ago that was a 4 speed car with air Cond and almost every option you could get. It was a really nice car. Sold it on craigslist for 35k. Advertised it here but just heard crickets.

That car looks pretty darn nice in the pics.

By coincidence, I have a friend contemplating selling his Z10. His is NOM, but good driver shape with 18 year old paint. He said he was thinking $50k to $60k if he were to "test the waters", which I took to mean he would probably consider less.

Just my opinion:... these are really a niche market type car. That is one reason you may see prices all over the place. If there happens to be two guys at an auction that have their hearts set on a Z10, you will see strong money. Limited production for sure, but to me (and remember this is just my opinion) just being rare doesn't necessarily mean desirable. But mechanically, nothing more than an RS SS, unless you have an L78 car. Not many big blocks. AC is a plus, for sure (my friend's car does have properly sorted and working factory air).

Having said all of that, a numbers car could bring very strong money, say $65k or more, if someone is looking specifically for a Z10 for his or her collection.

"Advertised it here but just heard crickets". We have all lived through that noise.

That really made me laugh!

I think that $55K sale was not typical. They are neat cars, but I've never seen that kinda $ on them.

Does this car have documentation? I don't know how one could estimate the value with this variable being unknown.
