Re: Wanted 1969 SS/RS 396 Tuxedo Black
Ed, I appreciate any information that you are able to come up with. If nothing turns up at all thanks a ton for the effort. It is very appreciatted. I know that black cars are hard to come by then when you add the SS/RS and big block to it that narrows it down even more. I look forward to hearing what you come up with. Thanks again. Jesse

Re: Wanted 1969 SS/RS 396 Tuxedo Black
Thanks for the heads up, but yeah we ran across that one. I had a picture of the trim tag posted on this site and it was a repop or fake tag. That really stunk but I guess it's better than buying a bum car and finding out later after you drop a bunch on cash on it. If you see any others please let me know. I would really appreciate it. Re: Wanted 1969 SS/RS 396 Tuxedo Black
I hear you on that one. It stinks that you need to look them over that close. I guess you really can't trust anyone these days. The sad part was the guy selling this car didn't have a clue that it was fake. He bought it as a frame off car five years ago. It's great to have a site like this that helps us car guys from getting taken to the cleaners. Jesse
