Default Front bumper stamping

My front bumper has a 259 stamp on it. Is that 25th week of 1969? 06A build. Thanks for any info.

Bob can you confirm location of stamp on the rear of the bumper for reference?

Just looked at mine, which is an 06A as well, and didn't find any numbers, front or back bumpers.

I sometimes see those on rechromed bumpers and assume it to be a job number. Do you know if this bumper was ever rechromed?

Not sure if its been rechromed. Most numbers ive seen on rechromed bumpers are not stamped. Just thought it was odd that it matched build date. Thanks Bob
