Cragar 15x4 S/S and NOS Goodyear 8.15 Tires, Early 1970s Vintage, 4.75 BC
Perfect pair to display on a 1960s-70s Day 2 car. These were purchased in the early 1970s for a 1971 Super Stock Camaro drag car. They show signs of having been bolted to the car but I don't believe they were ever driven on. As is the case with old Cragars, the chrome is not perfect but the shine and depth of the chrome is incredible. They have clearly never been out in the weather, exposed to steel wool, etc...they just have some oxidation from having been stored for decades. The silver touched-in areas on the lug area still look pretty fresh. If anyone needs more pictures, let me know.
Although the tires are NOS, they do have light crazing/cracking on the sidewalls so I would only use these for display or mild boulevard cruising. $1100 and I will deliver these to MCACN for free. Pics:
