Default '67 Chevy tach

My dad has this tach that was offered over the counter at Chevy dealers and he was wondering if there was a market for it. He says he's thinking of selling it. Right now he has it in a display case. It works and he has the Chevy brochure and installation instructions with it. What do you think?

Over the counter accessory tach for 1967 and 68. Neat piece. Have a price in mind?

Well that's kind of what I was wondering. What is this thing worth? He is trying to put a '65 Nova together and could use a little money, so he was considering selling the tach. You guys amaze me with your knowledge so I'm asking for your opinion. He was thinking of putting it on craigslist, but I'd rather offer it to you guys first.

I've only seen one of these before and it was on the dash of a '67 SS Chevelle.

A nice used one is worth 250-300. I would be a buyer. The 995 price is for an NOS in the accessory box and that is too high. Everything Jim has as 20-30% over retail usually. LOL

My email is [email protected] if your are interested in selling it.

Thanks,
Donny

I told dad that there was some interest in it. He said that he wants to hang on to it for now, but might sell it later. He was kind of wanting to know if it had any real value. Thank you all for your replies. Some day we are going to have to sell some stuff. We have 2 garages and a storage building full of stuff that we need to sell sometime.

Very cool tach. I have the same one in my 70 Nova. I purchased it NOS in the box about 13 years ago for $450.00
