7.75x14 redstripe was the standard tire on the '66 SS396 Chevelle.

F70x14 redstripe was the standard tire on the '67 SS396 Chevelle.

F70x14 redstripe was RPO PW8 available on a any non-SS '67 Chevelle and El Camino except station wagons.

Additionally, No Charge RPO PW7 substituted F70 white stripe in place of F70x14 red stripe. - Bill W

Are you sure about that Bill?? Redline tires?? In 66?

I never forget when I had one of my 66’s at the AACA Show getting a Senior Level Judging and a Judge questioned me about the tires. I was speechless. Rolled my eyes and edumacated him LOL

Very Nice Truck in good colors. Hope it finds a good caretaker

----Red line tires were available in 64 on GTO's. I know we are talking about Chevrolets, but thought I'd mention it....Bill S

I did not know that. But I am not a Pontiac Guy by nature. I love all Muscle Cars from the day, but to me all Pontiacs were slow compared to what my friends and I had back in the day . Which was Hemi Road Runners, L-88 powered 1969 Camaros (Still looking for Bit' of Gold) Boss Mustangs ECT.

----Those appear to be the newer design Torque Thrust D American Racing wheels. They are slightly different than older originals, but still good looking!....Bill S

Wheels are newer versions, but the gray center spokes were lightened to look more like the finish of 60’s vintage torq thrusts. Lots of interest, but still available as of today.

Best wishes for your father. That El Camino is beautiful, well done and ready to enjoy. GLWS!

I can’t believe this has not sold yet. I have to stop looking at this or I’ll have to build another garage. Price is very fair, I think.
