Do you know if John raced at GLD or the other tracks? I could ask around.

The car will be coming to the shop for a thorough cleaning. The engine has not been run since 1982 so in all likelihood that will get torn down and refurbished but NO restoration will be taking place on the car, only a major cleaning. The stories are just way too cool to destroy the history.

Gotta love a guy that gets a running, lettered race car as a HS graduation present from his dad. I think I got a card with $20 inside!
