Thx...I wish the new ones were packaged similar. By the looks of the Jegs web page they are individually packaged and sold... WTF???

Unfortunately it looks that way. Shame they didn't repeat history on this one. Would have been cool.

The quickest I went on my unilugs was 12.65, but one time when I was mounting a new pair of rear tires, I found that one of the welds had a crack in it about 1/2" long. I had a friend weld it, and it hasn't re-cracked. It's not a bad idea to check the welds from time to time.

I've been mid 11s dumping the clutch at 5500 in a 3600lb car without any problems. Spinning 7" slicks, but carrying the front wheels with 9". These are 1/2" studs.

This car had quite an impact on me when I was growing up.

After viewing this entire post it brought back memories, as I had Cragars on my 68 Chevelle, one of the best looking wheels IMHO. My question is what is the consensus on mounting white letters out vs blackwalls with these wheels.

I believe that showing vs not showing white letters really depends on the car and what era you're going for. Sometimes the white letters are just too much on a car that has a lot going on, but for some cars that don't have stripes or are more subdued looking the white letters look pretty good. They are starting to come back on some new Camaros.
