Default 1970 Boss 429 first car

It had a 429CJ swapped in but he put 140k on it. Found it thru Facebook group, it’s still around and restored, but still driven.

I always wonder about the red Boss 429 I saw in Cunningham TN in 85/86. Looked brand new and mileage was 20 something k. The guys dad was a big car dealer in Knoxville, last name of the guy was Ball.

That’s an awesome story. A guy in my neighborhood growing up had a 428 and a 429 mustang both blue and my high school teacher had a Gt500KR red. He used to rebuild model T and model A carbs on the hood of it. The car was stolen in 70 or 71 and third gear blown, car sat there well into the late 80s last I’d seen it

My dad had a 351 grande it had a cam and a 600CFM Holley 2 bbl so people would give me spots , so I knew where most of the super stangs were in my area . Our car was pretty fast for what it was (2bbl family car) back in those days .
