Default Original Black Paint '59 Mercury Convertible...wow

Talk about a loaded car. Needs a ton of work but this one has a great color combination and appears to have every available option. Looks pretty solid, not surprising coming out of NM.

And $5k doesn't buy much these days.

That thing would be stunning if completely restored. Still trying to figure out that fuel line/fuel pump setup

Very nice. Won’t see one coming down the street when you drive this puppy. Speaking of pups, how much you think the dog will go for?

I'm don't like what ebay is doing now with auctions that have ended. If you click on links for auctions that have ended it takes you to something similar. Not what the link is for. I even did a fresh start looking for a 1959 Mercury, and then went to completed auctions and I still couldn't find it. What's up?

Yes it's a recent change, and a PITA. But you can still see the original item if you click on the word 'listing' (it's a link) in 'The listing you’re looking for is no longer available. Check out this similar item we found for you.'

I think it had at least one bid at $5100, I think it was pulled because it sold off of eBay, but that's just a guess. Cool car, these big late 50s cars are awesome. Really something to see when restored properly.
