This is a true RS Z/28 with it's original motor. The car belonged to the same owner from 1970 until I bought it 3 months ago. It had sat in his garage for the past 15 years. The car was used sparingly as a weekend slalom race car in the early and mid 70's. It was refurbished in the late 80's and only driven a few years to shows before being parked in 1993. The car has 44,000 original miles. It is a good "10 footer". The car runs great and drives but needs some typical work for a car that has not been driven for a period of time. It is a true Corvette Bronze car, a color that was only offered for the last few months of production. The car also has a very rare cowl plenum air cleaner. It has power disc brakes, tilt wheel and rear defogger. The interior is nice. 760-941-5219

Nice, if it's a true west coast car this could be a great deal for somebody.

Looks to be a good buy, if all is as it appears.
You couldn't buy the pieces and a project for that kind of money.

Seller said the rear end is not original. It was damaged in the past while transporting. It had slicks at one time... quarters were modified, then glassed over to have a more original look. Seller has NOS quarters to sell with car at a reasonable price. Fenders were replaced with NOS fenders. Original 302 with numbers is in the car. Carburetor is not original. Plenum air cleaner is original equipment. The original 4 speed is out of the car... it will go with the sale. It has 1969 Camaro buckets. There is a picture of this car's fender in one of Jerry MacNeish's books to show that the 1968 Z28 received either a 302 or Z28 emblem.
