Default 1970 8 inch timing cover SBC 302 350

Hi Friends, I have a restored & painted SBC HiPo 8" timing cover here.

Dated 5 70 for May 1970 would certainly fit a 302 Z28 or SS350 L48 or even be dated for a Yenko Deuce maybe. Getting hard to find - nice shape ready to install.

There may've been a ding in it that was repaired (I did not paint this unit) see the blemish at 9 o'clock on the cover in the first photo and the last with the ruler, the camera picks it up well, but not fatal in real life in my opinion. Close up in third photo FYI.

$150 shipped & insured to the 48.

Thanks all,
Anthony

Bump. Great date for an LT-1 350 Z28 360hp or 370hp car.

Thanks again,
Anthony

Just trying to help because it is confusing.

5-70 = 5th Week of 1970 Calendar year puts the Timing Cover around August 29th, 1969

I use to think it was the month and year stamped on the cover but it's not. Otherwise it would have been May of 70 like it was indicated.

5-70 stands for 5th week of the calendar year 1970,which is actually between Jan. 26th to Feb 1st,1970.
