That pic certainly shows what I was thinking, it needs 4 cables, each charging 3 batteries. Hopefully it comes with all 4 cables, since that is what they talk about.

Waiting to see what you get, Lynn. If it comes with 4 cables, I'll go get one too...

I've had really good luck with this unit from Battery Tender. It maintains 10 batteries at a time. We bought these 3 years ago and have zero issues to date. We have 3 of them to maintain 30 deep cycle batteries for a sporting clays course we built at the local Boy Scout camp.

I can post pics tonight. The unit has four ports, or female multi-plugs.

Each of those ports supports three sets of cables (six total cables, three pos and three neg.)

So, there are no extra wires needed. 12 sets of cables to charge or maintain 12 batteries simultaneously.

First pic is in the box.

Second pic is hooked to five batteries. Will report when / if done charging.

The four huge batteries in the back row are out of a couple of floor scrubbers I purchased at a surplus sale. OTHER THAN dead batteries, they both work fine; just need a few maintenance items.

I can probably get away with much smaller batteries, but if I can get these to work, all the better. The black ones (Duracell) cost about $320 each, the brown ones (Trojan) cost $410 each; so figured it was worth the gamble. There is no "magic" to either one, so could buy the cheaper ones, but would rather not. I could also go with a couple of Optima yellow top, and save some money. These are designed to clean up to 92000 square feet on a single charge. I won't ever clean over 2900 feet at a time.

Well, that's my timing in life. Got home from SCR and went to buy this and he's sold out...

I tried buying 2 for as high as $139.95 each, and he declined both offers. I guess he didn't want to negotiate so I purchased mine on Amazon for $5.00 more over his $149.95 selling price and was done with it. Looks to be a unique charger. I hope it lasts.

Thanks Bill, I did a search yesterday and all the links to amazon that came up were higher. Found the one for $155 and have it coming.

I think thats a great price, but I would just want to know if it works and lasts. Most multiple trickle chargers are expensive like $900.
Seems to good to be true.
