Default Front license plate bracket

Looking for an original front license plate bracket. Has “C” stamped on it. Thanks! Mike

Barry, check the forks/prongs for the stamps. I believe thats where it should be stamped. It’s also listed in the Camaro Legends judging manual. I’m too new to these message boards to figure out how to quickly post a pic.

Not every assm line correct license bracket has the letter "C" on it. Chevrolet used several companies to make parts. AAc was another company. Here is 2 pictures of known original cars. Benny's car has the letter "C" while Guy's 375hp car does not....Joe

I believe Mike is going by the Judging Manual which states, "Original license plate brackets are stamped on each mounting extension with a "C".

The judging manual needs some updating, IMO. Not a knock on those that did it. I think they also realize we are learning more and more each day on these cars
