Default 61 Corvette Weathervane

11 years ago I studied making weathervanes with Dave Ferro in Rhode Island, he has been doing this decades for a living, and quite impressive. I stopped by to visit the other day and he is finishing up this 61 Corvette. The full bodied Corvette is 3 foot long and sits on a 5 foot arrow. He has been working on it for 4 months, all hammered copper. The guy who commisioned it asked him for detail on the under carriage since he would be lookin up at it after mounting it -- needless to say the detail is there. He has gilded some 23k gold leaf and palladium for the chrome areas.
