Kim , Woodgrain on 68 Camaro dash bezel typically ran from top to bottom. I do not believe there was a woodgrain radio retainer, only the black. The Firebirds had the lines that ran left to right, (right to left if you're Asian!!) That ran true for the ash tray and radio retainer plate on the 'Birds also. You have a FB part there, sir.

He was partnering an Indy Car a while back. But haven't heard much of late. Probably walking on water somewhere. Fantastic guy.
