Sold '67 Chevelle MCR project car, "Malibeater"

Not mine, I offered to post up the "Malibeater" for sale here.

"Malibeater" is a '67 Malibu born as a 283/Powerglide, red/red, no rust AZ car with sun faded original paint. Musclecar Review magazine (I miss MCR!) project car by Arvid Svendsen. ZZ427 crate engine, M22, Strange Engineering 4.10 12 bolt, four wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Included is a tote full of documents going back to the 60's along with MCR magazines and related paperwork from the magazine series. Malibeater has been to MCACN twice.

At MCACN 2021 I was approached by Bert Van Andel who informed me that I had been chosen to be the recipient of the Brad Van Hemert Memorial Award, in honor of his long time car buddy who passed suddenly in 2021. I was floored to have been chosen.

Brad was the owner of Malibeater during the magazine series, and until his passing, I remember him as part of the move-in staff at MCACN. The car is now in possession of Brad's cousin Josh Schoenmaker in MI. These are the best pix Josh could furnish me, any questions should be directed to Josh. (231)730-seven seven 13. Josh related to me that he is willing to deliver anywhere in the continental US.
