Joe, I'll have to recheck my source, but, the story was told with much certainty, and, it sure looks like it to me.

Jeff, based on the setup with the tunnel ram, etc., I'd have to guess high 10s/low 11s. Feel free to correct me with facts though.

Was the rear spoiler in the B&W pics the Yenko produced glass lid with integral spoiler? There were at least two '68's with this option, including the first '68 YS-8002 which was indeed Corvette Bronze, and a Demo car. Is it possible this Demo car did tour time in Florida, since it was Fred Eggers Demo car and based out of Atlanta.

Yes, it has the glass decklid with intergral spoiler, and yes, I'm also almost certain it is the car you speak of.

Yes thats the 002 car. It still has the spoilered deck lid and original hood. And it was the car Eggers used and was a southern demo car. Once finished, it was returned to Yenko. A local fellow bought the car and soon sold it to another local guy that has had the car ever since. We have just started the restoration of this car and it has many one of a kind items. It will be at SCR9 is my guess. It is one of the coolest projects I have ever seen with a ton of original pictures from Brandon to help with the resto...BKH

Mike: ever had the car weighed? I believe I heard the '68 Camaro was lighter than the '69 and the '67 Camaro lighter than the '68? Anyone know?

Kind of strange that he would feel it necessary to black out the gas cap...
