Nicky Nova found in poor condition
My 69 Nova "retirement project" I picked up 6-7 years ago and I am working on my other cars so this will be started when I get to it I figure about the time I retire in 8-10 years I would love to see what others from this dealer had looked like if anyone has some pics? I sent off for NCRS report hoping to find the dealer local- oh well can't say it disappointed me

Re: Nicky Nova found in poor condition
Cool find! What is the known history on the car? Any Nickey mods or additional paperwork? Either way, neat car and congrats.

Nicky Nova found in poor condition
,
Too cool and congrats! Was the car in Texas when you got it or where also do you have anything of past owner names/locations/stories? Best dig for history now/not later and you may get lucky. There's a few Nickey Novas ads in the Old Newspaper thread including at least one '69 @ 8500 miles in Feb/70 @ this page 22 link... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...ads#Post670107 Subject VIN 114279W314408 Best of luck! Re: Nicky Nova found in poor condition
Yes was in Texas when I bought it 6 or so years ago. I have searched the vin # and found an older ebay add where it sold in about same condition. I got ahold of seller and he didnt say much as I was hoping for, was hoping to find the drivetrain. It had pics listed but were tiny so when I enlarged them they were very grainy.
I sure wouldnt mind some suggestions of where to look for some history.

Re: Nicky Nova found in poor condition
Post any and all info you have on the car here. Make sure to include drivetrain, color combos and last known location it was in before being "discovered".

Nickey Nova found in poor condition

Best is follow up on any and all leads possible including insignificant ones also record all details in an organized fashion. Does Texas MV offer history inquiries or can/will they tell you the date first registered there and/or State previously registered? I'll look for Texas ads too but here's two different '69 Nickey Nova ads below from Feb. '70, as posted previously in the Old Newspaper thread. Finding out whose old #'s they were would be a great start...whether your car or others? Good luck and looking forward to whatever you can find!
