1984, with my 1971 440+6 four-speed Cuda ragtop. One of five produced. This was after I found it and was U-Hauling it back to Connecticut from Miami. Had to stop at "South of the Border" to get a bumper sticker.
And after I finished restoring it in 1985, |

Here's a picture from about 1977 in front of my house (swimmers house) at 730 Water St. Eau Claire, WI.
This was the night of a big party. Can you read the sign that we borrowed from a hotel in Madison? TRY OUR WATER BED. |

Man I love the high school pics. Those were the days. I was also class of 80.
Sadly no pictures either. They could have become evidence.

Re: Vintage pics of muscle cars-post yours up here!!
Not a muscle car but this is my 1979 3/4 ton Chevy van I bought new from Sutliff Chev in Harrisburg and took it staright to a friend of mine who was the art teacher at Southern
Huntington High School in Three Springs, PA, he would take his students over to his home during class and let them help him paint the scenes on the van. He also painted my 1973 Z/28. |

Wow, the paint on that van is cool, but you totally nailed both the van and the Z with those SS rims, as well as the sidepipes on the Z. Pure 70's goodness.

My first Camaro with friends in 75, parking lot behind barracks at Dover AFB, I'm at the driver door. 10 10 SS350 4speed console and gauges, 12 bolt 3.55's. This car had steel wheels and hub caps.

The fenders stripe was painted and the doors had decal type. Didn't know that was done then. It was my understanding the SS cars got black grills. Is that not correct? The Z28's and the plain Jane and specialty cars got silver and the black RS cars got silver. I saw it for sale in front of one of the barracks close to the flight line when I was first stationed at the base. The car had Virginia plates and the original owner was being shipped overseas. I bought it as it looks in my pic. I pulled the SS emblem because I liked the grill plain and it had hood pins and I tucked the lanyards into the grill. IIRC, it was still an original paint car, I don't believe it was ever wrecked. Look to the left in the pic and you'll see my 67 GTO I sold to buy the Camaro. More pics.
