'68 #s 400/4-sp Firebird
Neat car still wearing the factory issue hubcaps, but priced really high. Interesting to see a first-gen restored to mostly original condition when nearly all of them seem to have been fitted with Rally IIs and painted a more popular color. I'm guessing color code P was the same as Chevy's Seafrost Green...looks like it from the pics.
Would that H.O. stripe have been only on the 350ci cars? Link to 1968 Firebird auction 223378U101211 |

Yes, the H.O. stripe was on the 350 cars in ‘68, and on the 326 cars in ‘67.
I like everything about that car... ‘cept the stripe.

I like that color! And yes, I do know that the GM divisions often shared color codes and just called them something else - i.e., Carousel Red / Hugger Orange...

Looks like the stripe was a recent addition.

I like it all but the console. Stripe likely added to help disguise the repainted driver's door. ~ Pete .

FWIW, The Rally stripe was an available option on all '68's but didn't include the H.O. designation (same stripe).

I don’t recall ever seeing a stripe without the H.O. Didn’t know that.
