Dana L88 '68 Camaro

I would think so to, but its also got things that would signify a Dana car. And as the Original owner stated he bought it brand new with the engine and 4 speed already installed. I forgot to include, it does have the numbers matching axel with 3.73s and a posi. (Cant remember the code off the top of my head) but as I said its a mystery. At this point though the original owner has no reason to lie about it. Considering they won't even respond to my messages other than giving me the information that it was brand new with the L88.

Stamp on pad is correct, casting number is correct. All of it is matching the linked forum posting from 2001. It was also found in the same location the customer lived at the time. Vancouver WA.

I wouldn't think you could have both, but I'm not a numbers guy.

----Not quite the same thing but I had a 65 Corvette with paper, 365hp, solid lifter, factory AC and a 4:11 posi rear. All on the original window sticker!.....Bill S

Wasn't the 327/365 HP the last solid lifter engine you could get and still order AC. Or is my memory failing me?

In 1972 you could get an LT-1 with A/C in the Corvette

1973 was the first year A/C was available in the Z and it was no longer an LT-1.

----Yes, Lee! In this case it's the 4:11 gear that's unusual, but 365 AC Corvettes are extremely rare. I have only seen 4 or 5.....Bill S
