Best way to find out if the distributer is real is take any points distributor from a '69 - '70 and a micrometer and measure the outer circumfrence of both housings. They should be exactly the same. Most of the housing on the really good re-stamps have been turned down and the lines pit back on the housing before the stamping.

The seller of the distributor pictured in the original post sticks to his story that it is 100% authentic. The housing measures 3.790. I need some help here.
