I don't think a thread has ever been started for something like this.

I see things all the time when working on cars, disassembling engines, and even working on my house that really make me scratch my head.

I thought it would be fun to start a thread that shows all the FUBARed parts we come across. It could be due to a mechanical hack job, explosion, bad body work, or simply a good idea gone bad. If it was something done by your own hand and you are embarrassed, you can always blame it on someone else [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img] . Help us decorate the Yenko.net Wall of Shame!

I'll get this started.


I recently bought a 1966 427/425HP engine out of a 1966 flat bottom boat. I found this pan in the garage of the house. It was the same color as the engine and is a 1966 pan. It was definitely on the engine and used at some point. This is 2 pans very crudely attached to each other.

There is a thread like this on a Porsche forum I watch. The stuff that gets posted is pretty scary.

This was posted recently on another forum. This is an example of how NOT to raise your X-frame car. The body mount bolts are the only things holding up the entire chassis! This was a professional shop that did this. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/rolleyes.gif[/img]
