Cool cars! It's always fun to look in the background of motion pics to see what's going on. The Buick that's all the way to the left is an interesting spot. Makes me think of that Motion GSX that RK Motors had for sale awhile back. I wonder if it got a similar treatment in a way....

in about 1974 the Gov stopped MP from doing new US street cars but they still did export cars, repairs, race cars, engine swaps, mail order parts, etc into the 1990's

Back in the day, it cost less to swap in a 454 Chevy then to build a Pontiac engine to get a 450hp to 500hp Ratbird

While some of these cars may have gone overseas, it was mostly a ‘red herring’ to throw off the Feds. It was a way to keep promoting Motion Performance in the magazines, while not generating exposure for Domestic Builds.
