Talking Nova plastic plugs for center studs on hood front moldins

Does anyone make exact factory plastic plugs for the back center studs for the front hood lip molding on a 1970 Nova.I am missing the two plugs Thanks Bob

Perhaps, but I've not seen them - yet! We pull them from junk yard cars, even the split ones (which most are) and we RTV them back together.

Google part number 4770719 plastic plug and a e-bay ad will come up. Did this last year. If i remember, they were sold as a set of 10, so you will have extra's. Be careful installing them, for they will split like the originals did. They are very close to the originals.

They almost look like the plastic insert which the door panel clips push into.

When I restored Grady's 69 Nova around 2008 those plastic thread covers came in one of the AMK kits. I tried to find them loose in there PDF parts list with no luck

The plastic caps look good, but the hood molding.... We will have to find you another one!!
