Default Interesting Yenko related story

I am doing research on my car, and was referred to Pat Musi. http://www.patmusi.com/musi_about.htm This was the first time I had met him. He was real easy to talk with, and we spoke for about 20 minutes like we were long time friends.

During our conversation, he mentioned that back in the day Don Yenko had given him (4 aluminum) Yenko engines. There is a related article in High Performance Cars magazine, October 1978. The story runs on page 24-26 and shows Pat's car.

There are also pictures of the inside of the block, crank, rods, etc. You can see the Yenko "shield" logo on Pat's car.

After I got off the phone I was wondering. How many other Yenko engines were given away in regards to sponsorship?
Things that make you go....hmmmmmmmmmmm!

You would be amazed how many times I have seen claims on EBAY that Don Yenko made only 5 Yenko all aluminum motors.
