Fit and finish 7 out of 10 per seller
Aluminum radiator
Posi added

let me know what other info to get...any thoughts are appreciated.

It’s going to be high teens/low twenties. The extra red in the interior with the painted doors and seat belts is a little much, but not too hard to fix. 65-68 Mustang Coupes used to be everywhere for $5-10k, but those days are officially gone.

Default 66 Mustang...

Thanks for the feedback...I just noticed the bolts coming thru the hood for the scoop. They look a little big to me for such a small item...??

Looks like a nice driver quality Mustang. Could see it in the $25/30k range.

First thing I saw on the hood open pic was those huge bolts, and yes, cutting them down to minimum would be a big help. I might even try to paint them with an artists brush and some Rustoleum Red to disguise them better.
I'm with Tom here, it would be a major coup' for that car to bring more than low 20's as there are still many Mustangs like that around for that price.

Really need pics of the undercarriage to determine the extent of rust damage/replacement panels. Being a NY car, it has to have been subjected to salt, unless it was imported from a southern state. Those poor cars started rusting on the trains as they left factory.

Thanks for the input...I don't have a lot of details, but will try to get them.

Stay tuned...

Check the cowl for rust under the dash. Check the floors. Check the cowl again. Check the quarters. Did I mention the cowl? (YouTube “Mustang cowl repair”)

Big thing that target buyer demographic will want is for that car to be 100% sorted out, everything works, no exhaust leaks, rattles etc.

Front frame rails/torque boxes and ditto for the rear torque boxes. I can almost replace those in my sleep after doing 7 first gen Mustangs.
