Cool picture!.
Note sign is Sight Bros, different operation/dealer codes than the later Bill Sight Chevrolet w/ changeover approx '66?.
The Sight family was the first Chevrolet dealership in Kansas City and are still in the car business as a Ford dealer..

Being 51 years old, this came as a real shock to Karl, who tried to find another job, even traveled some in searching, doing accounting and filing tax records for people like Guy's Foods -- all until he met Crosby Kemper, Sr., in an elevator. Crosby (who was a member of the Red Cross Board) mentioned that the Kansas City Chapter of the Red Cross was looking for a new Office Manager. This led to active employment there until retirement.

I realize I'm adding to an old thread, but new info.

I have the engine from a '68 L-89 Corvette that NCRS shows as 10/25/1967 and delivered to dealer 390 in Zone 5, but no data as to the dealer name. All of my searches show Bill Sight Chevrolet. Whereabouts of Corvette VIN # 194678S402751 are unknown.
