IMO, of the 70-72 A bodies the 442s had the most muscular appearance particularly with the bulging rear "haunches".

Jimmy moved to Alaska before I went off to College and I have never seen him since.
I often wonder what may have happened to that car? I met Jimmy in the mid 80's, he was living in Kenai Alaska, driving his yellow W-30 vert. regularly. I had recently finished a frame off restoration on a Nugget Gold W-30 I bought out of Seattle, this car also had a W-27 carrier in it. Jimmy moved out of state sometime in the early 90's. I'll post some pics of my car when I get the negatives put on a disc.

We have also seen date codes as early as 13 Aug 69 on the Oldsmobile intake. " |
