Mike, Nice car! I have been going to DIV-1 races for 35 years and never saw this car. I think Lustine was out of the Baltimore area??? Maybe Jerry MacNeish knows this car.

A lot of great old pics. This weekend at Atco there is the Nostalgia Super Stockers meet and I think I might be going to it. Does anyone remember a 1963-1965 Corvette that ran modified production? It was called "The Dancing Bear" and there was a picture of a bear on its hind legs. A guy by the name of Chip Banney owned the car.

------Cool Corvette!!! Appears to be a 64. Someone was using thier head when they thought to block off the grill cavity as that was a major source of lift on the big end. Those things didnt steer real well at all when the grill opening was open and the front end was high as was the fad at that time........Bill S

I remember the older guys in the neighborhood talking about it. To bad it closed before I was old enough to drive.

I found this picture & a bunch of guys talking old school at THIS SITE

Scroll down about half way or so & start reading.
I remember some of the guys talked about.
Maybe you can still contact a couple of ol' buddies from back in the day.
