Default 1967 Chevelle SS Survivor- Certified Time Capsule

As the say, " they are only original once". For those interested in learning about factory standards and correct restorations tips these pictures are invaluable.

I will be posting more brands, makes and model however these reference photos will be available to contributing members.

One the reference photos are moved to a new location we will add information notes to each photo detailing significant info each photo represents.

https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthre...=169189&page=2 post #15 is the start of the 67 Chevelle.

A big thank you to Bill Wente the owner for sharing his car with our membership.

Thank you everyone and especially to Steve for posting this and for hosting a Certification judging venue for the best preserved musclecars!!

For several years I looked at a lot of '67 Chevelle's searching for that just right pure survivor. This green car is very brief on options, but it checked all my boxes without reservation.

One of my peeves on survivor cars is rattle can spray under the hood. This Chevelle escaped that, the only thing under hood not original assembly line is the battery and has been a reference point for other '67 Chevelle's. There are traces of orange paint on the VC gaskets, they have likely never been off.

I gave consideration to taking it out to Gary Riley for ice blasting the underside, but the undercoat is specified on the sales invoice. So in my mind it needs to stay. - Bill W

Smart decision to not ice blast your chassis. It looks great as is.
