Default Carburetor Restoration

Anyone had any experience with Pony Carburetors Inc.? They restore carburetors and sell them on E-bay.

Never had then rebuild a carb or bought one from them, but I used to have had them re-color a lot of the carbs I sold. They did a good job and were fast and reasonable on their prices.

No but I can tell you that both Pro Systems and The Carb Shop do great work.

May I make a suggestion? Try Craig Bartling...he did my L-78 carb...looks AND performs flawlessly...quick turn around, at least it was done when he said it would be, and price wise, he was MORE than competitive with any other restored carb I've ever seen and visually I couldn't see a difference. I didn't even have to set the idle...

He told me his e-mail link is down so call him...

All I can say is would you rather drive a Yugo or a 69 ZL1 Camaro. If you like Yugo's then send your carb to one of those so called carb shops. If you want the best then send it to Dr. Eric Jackson. Heck I had a heart attack and was in the hospital for a week and felt like I had been run over by a Mac truck. But when I got home and got the package open I felt like I had died and went to heaven. He's the best!!

If he can bring people back from the dead, then carbs should be a piece of cake. I'll keep him in mind.
